Microsoft Dynamics 365 with the WMS module is ideal for distribution and production companies. However, not only. It also fulfills its tasks with medical service providers. Retcon successfully completed the pilot implementation of the WMS module in one of the companies of the Medicover Polska group, a leading provider of medical services.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 enables efficient and integrated supply chain management in companies with multiple branches and therefore use more than one warehouse. Thanks to the advanced handling of logistics processes in high storage warehouses (WMS) and the use of intelligent algorithms, warehouse spaces are optimized. We obtain information about the current stock in real time. For this reason, the WMS module is also increasingly chosen by companies from other retail industries — especially those operating in the areas of commerce, e-commerce, q-commerce.

The aim of the project led by Retcon was to:

• improving patient satisfaction related to access to medical services;
• solution of storage problems (marketing of vaccines and other medical and non-medical articles);
• consistent management of primary data of articles (master data);

• meeting the challenges of booking vaccines for patient visits.

The WMS solution chosen by the customer allowed precise management of warehouse resources in relation to the needs of patients and allowed more efficient registration of vaccination visits with guaranteed availability of a given vaccine.

Effective management of the flow of goods in the warehouse, which consists of:

• reduction of costs resulting from the purchase of a large number of medical items that are disposed of;
• availability of vaccines for vaccination appointments;
• measurable savings in the form of shorter reception times, releases, inventories and personnel and cost savings;
• stock management by allocating goods to specific locations in the medical center (specific offices, e.g. treatment rooms);
